SpendAndGive was formed in 2006 as a way of raising additional funds for a small group of charities and community groups through online shopping.

The charity is principally working in Sumatra, Indonesia, providing financial support to provide education, accomodation, food and other needs for victims of earthquakes and tsunamis by partnering with two organisations, YACAN & YASAH, who run children’s homes and sponsorship programmes.
This ministry started in 2001 necessitated by the need to mitigate the negative impacts of HIV and AIDS in society. The project’s “strap line” is “rebuilding broken lives”.
